In the summer of 2018, I received a grant from Fund For Teachers to study the history of slavery, resistance to slavery, and the African Diaspora in Brazil. This website resource was created based on what I found during that trip. It has also served as a model for students' own websites about the African Diaspora based
on research they completed on other countries in the Americas,
which you can find here.
